Programme Details
In 2007, NatSteel launched the Bursary Award Programme designed to enable physically disabled students to focus on their education in mainstream schools by alleviating the financial burden of the families. In 2017, the programme expanded to include students with sensory disabilities. With this programme, NatSteel aims to empower disabled students to focus on learning without having financial worries.

The programme pledges $75,000 SGD to SPD annually for Bursary and Empowerment Programme
$10,000 SGD grant given to each student. The programme has successfully levelled the playing field for about 950 students
In 2019, a total of 29 students with physical disabilities and 21 students with sensory disabilities received the Bursary. A total of $47,350 SGD was donated through the bursary
